Description

The NAA Wasp Mini-Revolver 22 WMR is a five-shot stainless mini revolver that weighs six and a half ounces and measures barely five inches end to end. This is the combo version, which ships with a second cylinder chambered in .22 Long Rifle, so the same gun runs magnum loads when it matters and cheap rimfire when you just want to shoot.
Small Enough to Actually Carry
The whole argument for a mini revolver is that it goes with you when nothing else does. At 5.13 inches long, 2.81 inches tall and just over an inch wide, the Wasp disappears in a front pocket, a boot, a purse or a jacket. It is not a substitute for a full-size defensive handgun, but it is the gun that comes along on the dog walk, in the fishing vest or under a suit when a larger pistol simply is not going to happen.
NAA Wasp Mini-Revolver 22 WMR Cylinder Swap
Swapping cylinders takes about a minute and no tools. Push out the cylinder pin, lift out the magnum cylinder, drop in the .22 LR unit and reassemble. Magnum ammunition costs several times what standard rimfire does, so having the LR cylinder means practice is affordable and you are not burning defensive ammo learning the gun. Both cylinders hold five rounds.
Barrel, Sights and Safety
The 1.63-inch barrel wears a vented rib that gives the gun its distinctive profile and adds a little sighting plane, with a half-moon front sight. The frame, barrel and cylinder are all stainless steel, and the grip is black pebbled rubber that gives the small frame something to hold onto. Operation is single action: cock the hammer for each shot. NAA’s safety cylinder has notches machined between the chambers so the hammer can rest safely on a fully loaded cylinder.

How It Handles
Expectations matter with a gun this small. The sight radius is under two inches and the grip barely fills two fingers, so this is a contact-distance tool rather than a target pistol. Inside a few yards, on a man-sized target, it does what it is meant to do.
Cocking the hammer with the thumb of the firing hand takes practice because there is so little gun to hold, and many owners find it faster to cock with the support hand. Recoil is sharp but brief, and muzzle blast from .22 Magnum in a 1.63-inch barrel is genuinely loud, which is another reason the LR cylinder earns its keep at the range.
Why Buyers Choose the NAA Wasp Mini-Revolver 22 WMR
Nobody buys one of these as their only gun. They buy it because it is the one that is always there. Stainless construction means pocket lint and sweat do not matter, there is no safety to forget and no slide to rack, and the whole thing weighs less than a phone.
Who Should Buy It
Deep-concealment carriers, backup gun users, hikers and anglers who want something in a pocket, and collectors of NAA mini revolvers will get exactly what they expect. Anyone looking for a primary defensive handgun should buy a larger pistol first and consider this as a supplement.
